If you’re wanting to use an infinity merc, then you’ll likely pair this with thunderstroke + shield. If using dual wield plagues on an act 5 Merc, then faster attack speed on the mancatcher would be better than Amazon spears. If using an act 1 faith merc, then using an Amazon spear would be better for the +skills.
This might result in more DPS vs larger monster groups but smaller DPS vs small monster groups. For lightning strike, you will get those off more often but might suffer more penalties from next delay (4 frames). Mancatcher would be better than Amazon spears for single target DPS for faster CB/charged strike use. I don’t think for a lightning strike spearazon that it’s worth going over the top with IAS gear to make a matriarchal pike work. If using an act 1 faith merc however, then using a matriarchal pike might be an option for more physical damage if max attack speed can be reached without much gear sacrifice. Matriarchal spear would be best for lightning/charged strike use as well as for CB.
